This post is essentially the the road that I’ve traveled from 15k a year to a million dollar business. In it I share the realities of what it takes to run an online business and the one assertion and the one strategy that got me where I am today. Putting all the pieces together for running […]

I was recently asked: “Casey I have attracted the wrong customers. How do I start to attract the right ones?” Well, it seems hard, but if we want a specific type of customer, we have to make sure our message, offer and overall business attracts that type of customer we are really searching for. During the event, I asked some of my wonderful friends if they had any questions for two of my favorite social media experts, Mari Smith and Michael Stelzner. Mari Smith is one of the top Facebook and Relationship Marketing Experts around. Today we answer two questions that were narrowed down from Carol “The How2Girl” Dodsley and Keith”Ask The Tipster” Everett for Mari Smith.
I am here at Blogworld in Los Angeles. I just finished a session listening to Michael and I have to say that social media is so simple yet so hard. Hard because the simple feels more complicated then it is. One simple hardfast rule in Social Media is focus on the audience. Focus on what they need and what you can do for them. When you can provide that help, that faith is so transparent that people will reciprocate that help. Nothing and no one is too small.
