The Most Important aspect to creating a successful online business is “Building your List”.

Have you noticed that successful online marketers usually have what is called an “Opt-In” Box on there website? Here’s what it looks like.

When I say list, I mean a list of “Subscribers” who are interested enough in your business to sign up to receive more information from you. This is the power of the internet. You don’t have to chase down people for your business. People see what you have and they decide if they want to know or get more from you. The process is a simple one. Those interested enter in their email and name, and any other “field” of information that you request, such as a phone number. That person who signs up then starts receiving your email campaign.

Your email campaign is created through what is called an “Autoresponder”. It is exactly what it sounds like-a software that you create a set of messages with that are sent out automatically to anyone who signs up to your list. So every time a new person signs up to your list they start receiving the messages. Each person gets a personalized email campaign sent to them. When I say personalized, I mean that the email has the new subscriber’s name throughout the email. It can do this because when the person signs up to your list, they put in their First and Last Name. The software remembers the names and gives you the option of personalizing the email with that person’s name.

As you can see the “Firstname_fix” inputs the persons individual name. This is so powerful for building a relationship with your list.

I want you to think about something, imagine having a pin-pointed and targeted subscriber list of 20,000. Let’s also say that you had a product you created for 27.00 dollars. You send out one email suggesting people purchase your book. Out of the 20,000, 4k of them purchase your book. You just made 108,000 dollars from one email message.

This is the power of building your list. Building your list is the key to making money online.
